Alexandra graduated this summer from her Law Tripos course with affiliated status.
We are delighted to share with you all that our student, Alexandra Breckenridge, graduated from her Law Tripos course with affiliated status, ranked 7th in her cohort of over two hundred students. She achieved a First Class mark in all her subjects in her final year. Last year, she was placed 5th in her cohort, having obtained the highest mark in Contract Law and Constitutional Law.
Speaking of Alexandra’s academic success, her Director of Studies, Dr Poorna Mysoor said, “The Law Tripos degree with an affiliated status is an exceptionally intense programme. Alexandra rose to this challenge from day one and achieved a remarkable result! I’m so proud of her!”
This is not all! Alexandra is all set for a career at the bar. She will be commencing her Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court College of Advocacy (ICCA) for which she has been awarded a Lord Mansfield Scholarship from the Honourable Society of Lincoln's Inn. Lord Mansfield Scholarships are the Inn’s most prestigious Bar Course scholarships, awarded in recognition of potential for a career at the bar.
There’s more! Alexandra did so well at the rigorous process of recruitment for pupillages that she had multiple offers of pupillage at the end. She will be taking up her pupillage at the Brick Court Chambers in September 2024. Once at the bar, she plans to develop a practice in commercial and public law.
We are grateful for Alexandra’s kind offer to supervise our students in Equity in the coming academic year. We are fortunate to have in Alexandra a student who has not only achieved academic excellence, but also someone who lends her time to mentor the upcoming cohorts of Law students.
