Are you interested in running for a position on this year’s MCR committee?
The nominations for this year’s MCR Michaelmas Term elections open on Monday, 14th October 2024 at 9am; the deadline to submit your manifesto plus a plain text version of it is 11:59pm, Saturday, 19th October 2024; please send your documents to both our MCR president Chris (mcr-president@lucy.cam.ac.uk) and our PG Events Officer Lisa (lisa.bernhardt@lucy.cam.ac.uk). Before submitting your manifesto, please carefully read the elections booklet (see below).
We’re looking to fill the following positions:
- Vice-President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Masters Representative
- Social Secretary (x2)
- Welfare Officer (x2)
- Disabled Students’ Officer
- BME Officer
- Faiths Officer
- LGBTQ+ Officer
- Communications Officer
- Mature Undergraduate Rep
Please note: All committee positions can only be filled by a full member of the MCR (with the exception of the Mature Undergraduate Rep which is only open to mature undergraduates of the college).

Hustings will take place on Monday, 21st October 2024, at 7.30pm in the Wood-Legh Room (Strathaird); remote attendance will be via Microsoft Teams, and we will send out a link before the event. The online voting period will be between 9am, Tuesday, 22nd October 2024, and 12pm/midday, Friday, 25th October 2024; the link to the voting portal will be sent out in the morning of Tuesday, 22nd October 2024.
