A morning of connection and celebration brought together Lucy alumni spanning five decades.
On Saturday, 28th September, the College hosted its first-ever Alumni Festival Brunch, which was met with enthusiastic support from the alumni community. Organised by the Development Office team, the event drew a remarkable 95 attendees, with alumni representing a span of graduating classes from 1973 to 2023.
Guests were greeted with Mimosas and Prosecco upon arrival, and enjoyed live music by saxophonist Tom Stone throughout the brunch. The sit-down meal provided a relaxed setting for alumni to reconnect while enjoying great food and conversation.
College President, Professor Dame Madeleine Atkins, delivered a well-received talk, updating everyone on the latest developments at the College, and Boat Club President, Josh Ripley, led tours of the Heffron Gym, exciting redevelopment of Marshall House garage, which has been made possible by a generous legacy from the late Don Hefferon.
