Visiting Lucy Cavendish Life Sciences Community organisations
STEMM students at Lucy Cavendish made the most of “May Week” this year by taking the opportunity to learn more about the local Life Sciences cluster.
Lucy Cavendish College is delighted to announce that Domainex will become the seventh member of our collaborative project with local life-science businesses.
Domainex is a multi-award winning, integrated drug discovery contract research organisation and has been setting the highest standards in drug discovery, with a particular emphasis on small molecule research, since 2001. The company works in partnership with clients from a variety of sectors including academic, pharmaceutical, biotechnology and patient foundation organisations around the world. The company is particularly interested in meeting the needs of students who have missed out on opportunities to experience the professional workplace during the pandemic. David Cronk, Chief of Staff, said
“At Domainex we recognise the challenges early career professionals face when embarking upon their careers, especially when networks are limited. We are delighted to join the Lucy Cavendish Life Science Community and play our part in supporting the students through their time at the college, provide opportunities to build networks and gain experience and employment within the life science sector.”
Domainex becomes our second member organisation, along with Phoremost, based at Unity Campus just 8 miles south of central Cambridge. We look forward to working with them, and all our members, in the coming academic year to provide opportunities for our students who have an interest in future employment in Life Sciences.
